The bill expands the list of individuals ineligible for earned incentive release credit under the Minnesota Rehabilitation and Reinvestment Act. It includes those serving sentences for crimes that resulted in the death of a person, first or second degree criminal sexual conduct, a criminal sexual conduct crime involving a victim under 16 years of age, a crime involving child pornography or child exploitation, any crime of violence in which the individual used or possessed a dangerous weapon, or any crime that carried a mandatory minimum sentence.
