This bill amends Minnesota Statutes to modify reimbursement rates for services provided by birth centers in the medical assistance program. It sets facility services reimbursement at the lower of billed charges or 70% of the statewide average for a hospital uncomplicated vaginal birth. If a recipient is transported from a birth center to a hospital before delivery, the payment is the lower of billed charges or 15% of the average hospital payment.
