Minnesota SF2061 amends state law to void and make unenforceable any restrictions on displaying the U.S. flag, Minnesota state flag, POW/MIA flag, military branch flags, and Blue Star or Gold Star Service flags on residential property. This applies to deed restrictions, subdivision regulations, local ordinances, contracts, rental agreements, and homeowners association documents. The change takes effect the day after enactment and applies to all such limitations in Minnesota Statutes, section 500.215, subdivision 2.
