This bill modifies the permissible uses of the remediation fund to allow for cost reimbursement for PFAS contamination remediation at emergency response training centers. It appropriates $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 from the environmental fund to the commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency. The commissioner may reimburse costs incurred on or after January 1, 2023, for investigation, response, removal, remediation, and monitoring efforts related to PFAS contamination.
