Establishes a state fire marshal account in the special revenue fund for fire safety-related fees and appropriations.
The bill establishes a state fire marshal account in the special revenue fund. Fees and penalties collected under the fire safety chapter, except those specified in section 299M.07, must be deposited in this account. Additionally, any gifts, grants, reimbursements, or appropriations received by the State Fire Marshal Division for administering this chapter must also be deposited in the state fire marshal account.
