Minnesota SF179 amends state statutes to prohibit the commissioner of transportation from reducing, closing, or removing travel lanes on Interstate Highway 94 between Minneapolis and St. Paul. The bill also prohibits the commissioner from spending funds to study, analyze, promote, review, consult, or propose a boulevard or land bridge design for the highway. Exceptions are made for lane reductions or closures necessary for resurfacing, reconstruction, maintenance, or emergency reconstruction.
