The Minnesota Strategic Industrial Development Enhancement Act establishes tax credits for economic development projects in Minnesota. Eligible entities can claim credits for qualified economic development expenditures and qualified initial infrastructure expenditures. The credits are 10% of qualified economic development expenditures up to $8,000,000 per project and 50% of qualified initial infrastructure expenditures up to $4,000,000 per project. The credits can be assigned to other taxpayers and carried over to subsequent years if unused.
