Minnesota SF140 allocates $300,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Ranier. This grant is intended to cover the predesign, design, construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new public works maintenance facility. The appropriation does not require a nonstate match. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $300,000 to fund this appropriation, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections.
