Minnesota SF1299 amends an existing appropriation to provide an additional $10,000,000 for the construction of a new wastewater industrial pretreatment facility in Litchfield. This facility, to be designed, engineered, constructed, equipped, and furnished by the First District Association, a dairy cooperative, will have a processing capacity of up to 1,750,000 gallons per day of high strength wastewater. This appropriation is in addition to the existing funding and is effective the day following final enactment.
