Appropriates $7,039,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to Ghent for water infrastructure improvements. Funds will be used to acquire real property, predesign, design, and construct improvements to sanitary ponds to address water quality and capacity issues. Additionally, $1,955,000 will be allocated for the construction of a new water tower and associated clean drinking water infrastructure. This funding aims to improve water pressure for residents and fire suppression purposes, and to meet requirements imposed by Lincoln Pipestone Rural Water.
