Minnesota SF1143 allocates $7,500,000 from the general fund for the commissioner of employment and economic development to grant to Lundstrum Center for the Performing Arts. The funds are intended for predesign, design, and construction of teaching spaces and a new theater to benefit youth and community members in North Minneapolis and surrounding areas. This one-time appropriation remains available until the project is completed or abandoned, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
