Minnesota SF1001 allocates $300,000 from the general fund for each of fiscal years 2026 and 2027 to the commissioner of transportation. These funds are designated for grants to the I-494 Corridor Commission to support programming and service expansion. This includes but is not limited to staffing, communications, outreach, education program development, and operations management. The commissioner is required to disburse the full amount by July 31 each year and may not retain any portion of the appropriation. This funding is a one-time appropriation.
