Minnesota HF875 amends the allowable uses of student support personnel aid to include hiring or contracting for personnel such as school counselors, school psychologists, school social workers, school nurses, or chemical dependency counselors. The aid can also be used to increase service hours for positions less than 1.0 full-time equivalent or make permanent positions hired using onetime resources awarded through federal acts. The changes are effective for revenue in fiscal year 2026 and later.
