Allows the legislative auditor to bring civil or criminal complaints for occurrences of fraud or maladministration of taxpayer-funded programs. County attorneys are also authorized to prosecute such claims. The standing of any state department to sue or be sued under applicable law must not be affected by any civil action or criminal complaint under this subdivision.
