Appropriates money for historic school building preservation grants. Eligible school districts and the Minnesota State Academies for the Deaf and the Blind can apply for grants to maintain and prevent deterioration of buildings currently serving elementary or secondary students and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A grant recipient can receive up to $300,000 per eligible building. Any unused funds from the first year are available in the second year.
