Waives certain graduation requirements for students in international baccalaureate programs.
Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, Minnesota will allow school districts and charter schools to waive certain graduation requirements for students in international baccalaureate programs. This waiver applies if the student is on track to meet the requirements of an international baccalaureate diploma program or an international baccalaureate career-related program by the beginning of grade 11. However, the waiver can be revoked if the student is not on track at the beginning of grade 12.
