Authorizes St. Cloud to impose a local sales and use tax to fund an outdoor water park.
The bill allows the city of St. Cloud to impose a local sales and use tax, subject to voter approval. The tax revenue will be used to finance up to $7,000,000 for an outdoor water park adjacent to the St. Cloud Aquatics Center. The tax can also be used to cover the costs of collecting and administering the tax. The tax expires three years after imposition or when sufficient funds are collected, whichever comes first.
