Minnesota HF4846 allows certain organizations to use grant awards for administrative costs in the Lights On program.
Minnesota HF4846 amends state statutes to allow nonstate organizations that contract with the commissioner to operate the Lights On program to use grant awards for administrative costs. Previously, applicants were not allowed to use grant money for administrative costs. The bill requires these organizations to keep records of vouchers and administrative costs if they submit a separate, itemized list of expenses in their report. This change is effective the day following final enactment.
