The bill establishes survivor support special license plates in Minnesota. The commissioner must issue these plates to eligible applicants who pay a fee and contribute to the crime victims account. The design will be created in consultation with relevant groups. Contributions are not refunded and are credited to the crime victims account. The plates can be transferred to another vehicle if registered to the same individual. Effective January 1, 2027.
