Minnesota HF4761 amends state statutes to exempt agricultural products and equipment from certain regulations governing products containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Beginning January 1, 2026, product manufacturers must annually report PFAS information to the commissioner, but this requirement does not apply to agricultural products and equipment. Beginning January 1, 2032, the sale of products containing intentionally added PFAS is prohibited unless the commissioner determines the use of PFAS is a currently unavoidable use.
