Minnesota HF4725 establishes a Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Education Center within the Department of Health. The Center will analyze workforce availability, create a website for aspiring mental health providers, and develop training programs for health care professionals. It will also identify barriers to licensure and loan forgiveness programs, and support integrated mental health and primary care in rural areas. The Center must submit annual reports summarizing its activities and progress. Funding is appropriated for these efforts.
