Minnesota HF464 amends the state statutes to mandate that health plan companies and county-based purchasing plans providing prescription drug coverage in the medical assistance program must pay a dispensing fee. This fee must be at least equal to the dispensing fee set forth in section 256B.0625, subdivision 13e, paragraph (a). The bill also allows the commissioner to modify coverage for prescription drugs in prepaid managed care contracts to increase savings by collecting additional prescription drug rebates.
