Minnesota HF447 allows secondary pupils to enroll in postsecondary summer courses.
Minnesota HF447 amends state statutes to allow secondary pupils to enroll in postsecondary summer courses. Postsecondary institutions must allow secondary pupils to enroll in summer courses consistent with their policies for postsecondary pupil enrollment in summer courses. Once enrolled, secondary pupils cannot be displaced by another student. If a postsecondary institution enrolls a secondary school pupil in a course, it must also enroll a qualified postsecondary student who qualifies as a veteran and demonstrates that the institution's established enrollment timelines were not practicable.
