This bill authorizes eligible former Minneapolis fleet services employees to purchase service credit for periods of omitted service. An eligible person must have been employed by the city on April 26, 2016, received salary for periods of employment from April 26, 2016, through November 4, 2022, and terminated employment on November 4, 2022. The eligible person can purchase service credit for the periods of April 11, 2017, through October 10, 2017, and April 27, 2018, through November 24, 2018.
