Minnesota HF440 provides $8,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund for the St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center, also known as the Depot in Duluth. The funds will support predesign, design, construction, and renovation work, including mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system upgrades and life-safety enhancements. The appropriation is contingent on securing at least $5,671,000 from nonstate sources. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to issue state bonds up to $8,000,000 to fund this project.
