This bill amends the Minnesota Statutes to allow retired public employees in the police and fire retirement plan to return to employment without reduction or suspension of their retirement annuity. It specifies that the amount of the annuity must not increase or decrease as a result of the reemployment and prohibits the member or their employer from making contributions during the period of reemployment. The changes are effective the day following final enactment.
