The Minnesota African American Family Preservation and Child Welfare Disproportionality Act is modified to require the commissioner of children, youth, and families to create a summary report of trends identified in child welfare cases, a summary of remediation plans, and an update on implementation of any previous remediation plans. The commissioner must provide the first report by October 1, 2029, and annually thereafter. The case review must include data on the number and race of children and parents or custodians involved in various child welfare activities.
