The bill amends MinnesotaCare eligibility to exclude undocumented noncitizens, effective January 1, 2026. Previously, undocumented noncitizens could enroll if they were registered as of June 15. Now, only citizens, nationals, and lawfully present noncitizens qualify. Families with citizen or national children must provide documentary evidence of citizenship. The change takes effect the day after final enactment.
