Minnesota HF3991 authorizes St. Louis County to sell by private sale certain tax-forfeited lands in Section 34, Township 51 North, Ranges 18 and 20 West. The county determined that returning these lands to private ownership would best serve its interests, particularly in resolving a structure encroachment issue. Additionally, the bill allows the private sale of county fee-owned lands in the South Half of the Northeast Quarter, lying southerly of the Brookston Plat and westerly of County State-Aid Highway 31.
