Establishes a Legislative Commission on Legislative Security to study and recommend on security issues for state legislators and staff.

The bill establishes the Legislative Commission on Legislative Security to study and analyze security needs of state legislators and staff in legislative districts and to review and recommend on proposed legislation impacting security for elected officials and staff. The commission consists of seven members from the senate and seven from the house, appointed by their respective chambers. The chair alternates between a legislator and staff member. The commission must employ staff as needed and will continue to serve until their successors are appointed.
