Minnesota HF361 extends the availability of appropriations for implementing the updated Capitol Mall Design Framework until June 30, 2025. The bill also establishes a Capitol Area community vitality account within Economic Development to improve livability, economic health, and safety in the Capitol Area. The city of St. Paul must consult with the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board before spending these funds. Additionally, $500,000 is allocated from the account for a grant to the Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board to support community vitality grants.
