Minnesota HF350 establishes a minimum city aid distribution for cities in the state.
Minnesota HF350 amends the state statutes to create a minimum city aid distribution. For cities in calendar year 2024 and thereafter, if a city's certified aid for the previous year is less than its current unmet need, the city shall receive an aid distribution equal to the sum of its certified aid in the previous year and the city formula aid. If a city's certified aid for the previous year is equal to or greater than its current unmet need, the total aid for a city is equal to the greater of its unmet need or the amount it was requested.
