The bill establishes Panhellenic special plates for fraternities and sororities in Minnesota. Eligible organizations must be members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and have an affiliated charitable foundation that is a nonprofit organization. The commissioner must adopt a suitable plate design at the request of an eligible organization. Contributions collected from the issuance of these plates are deposited in the Panhellenic foundations account and are distributed to affiliated charitable foundations based on the number of plates issued.
