Minnesota HF303 allows third-party testing for school bus and transit bus drivers.
Minnesota HF303 amends state statutes to authorize third-party testing for school bus and transit bus drivers. School districts, school bus companies, and transit operators that own or operate buses and are third-party testing programs can enter into agreements with other entities to test drivers. These agreements must be approved by the commissioner. The third-party testing program can be reimbursed by the driver's school district, school bus company, or transit operator. The bill becomes effective the day following final enactment.
