Minnesota HF3017 provides $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 from the general fund to the commissioner of public safety. The funds are intended for a grant to Guns Down Love Up, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to acquire property for a retreat center for victims of gun violence. This appropriation remains available until the project is completed or abandoned, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
