Minnesota HF2860 authorizes local health departments to obtain and possess vaccines required for school and child care enrollment, influenza vaccines, COVID-19 vaccines, and other vaccines as needed. It also allows local health departments to obtain and possess a predosed form of epinephrine for use in life-threatening allergic reactions. The commissioner of health must provide a standing order for vaccine and epinephrine distribution at the request of a community health board. The bill also provides for training materials on administering the predosed form of epinephrine.
