Minnesota HF212 allocates $33 million from bond proceeds to the Public Facilities Authority for Stillwater's water treatment plants. The funds will be used to predesign, design, construct, and equip up to three plants, along with associated water mains and appurtenances, to remove per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from the city's drinking water wells. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $33 million to provide the appropriated funds.
