This bill allows Itasca County to sell by private sale up to 10% of tax-forfeited land bordering public water, overriding certain state statutes. The sale must be approved by the attorney general and is in addition to other county authority to sell such lands. The county believes private ownership best serves its land management interests. The authorization expires on June 30, 2027.
