Minnesota HF2007 creates a spoken language health care interpreter work group to identify ongoing sources of financial assistance for interpreters, understand changing needs and consumer quality care, and suggest changes in requirements and qualifications on telehealth or remote interpreting. The work group will consist of 15 members, including interpreters, health plan company representatives, and members representing limited English proficiency individuals. The commissioner must convene the first meeting by October 1, 2025, and provide at least two opportunities for public comment.
