Minnesota HF1982 eliminates deadlines for active transportation safety training for students.
Minnesota HF1982 repeals the deadlines for active transportation safety training for students. Previously, students enrolled during the first or second week of school had to receive the training by the end of the third or sixth week, respectively. The bill removes these deadlines, allowing districts and nonpublic schools more flexibility in providing the training. Kindergarten pupils can still receive the training before the first day of school.
