This budget exception applies to home and community-based services waivers under sections 256B.092 and 256B.49. The exception amount is set at an annualized rate equivalent to nine hours per day of home care nursing provided by a registered nurse. The bill becomes effective on January 1, 2026, or upon federal approval, whichever is later.
