Minnesota HF1813 allocates $2,000,000 from the general fund for the renovation and expansion of the Black Arts Tech Center in St. Paul. The funds will be granted to 30,000 Feet, a nonprofit organization, to design, construct, furnish, and equip the center. The expansion will include an outdoor performance space, a multidisciplinary art room, and a dance space. The center will provide tech training and programming specifically for youth living in poverty. This appropriation is in addition to previous funding and will be available until the project is completed or abandoned.
