The bill provides $1.5 million for the city of Brooklyn Center to predesign, design, and engineer a new public works maintenance facility. The funds are appropriated from the bond proceeds fund and will be granted by the commissioner of employment and economic development. To finance this appropriation, the commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,500,000, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
