Minnesota HF1054 requires student attendance data to be reported in school performance reports.
Minnesota HF1054 amends the state statutes to mandate the inclusion of student attendance data in school performance reports. These reports, to be developed and updated annually by the commissioner, must also include academic performance data, progress consistent with federal expectations, school safety metrics, rigorous coursework, career and college readiness benchmarks, and other demographic and status information. The commissioner must post these reports on the department's public website by September 1 each year, or October 1 in years with new performance standards.
