Minnesota HF1045 allocates $14,153,000 from bond proceeds to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Eagle Lake. The funds will be used to construct and equip a water treatment facility aimed at providing clean drinking water and addressing water quality issues, including high levels of manganese. The commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to the appropriated amount. This bill is effective the day following final enactment.
