Michigan SB1177 amends the state's consumer protection laws to prohibit the manufacture, sale, or distribution of medical solution containers and medical tubing containing PVC or intentionally added DEHP. Effective January 1, 2030, this bill bans the use of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in medical solution containers. It also prohibits the use of intentionally added DEHP in medical tubing, effective January 1, 2033.
