Michigan SB1110 amends the licensing requirements for physicians, osteopathic physicians, dentists, and podiatrists by adding new reporting requirements. Specifically, applicants for licensure or renewal must report the names of hospitals where they are employed or under contract. Additionally, applicants exempt from obtaining a Social Security number or those exempt from disclosing it due to religious convictions must report this information. The bill also mandates that applicants provide an affidavit stating they have a written policy for protecting and maintaining medical records.
