Requires friend of the court to provide information on equal parenting time presumption.

This bill amends Michigan's child custody laws by requiring the friend of the court to provide information on the presumption of equal or approximately equal parenting time to parents involved in domestic relations matters. The friend of the court must inform parents about the availability of joint custody and the presumption of equal parenting time. This information is to be provided in an informational pamphlet and upon request, an oral explanation is also to be provided. The bill ties in with other related bills from the 103rd Legislature.
