Establishes an insurance coverage and affordability task force to evaluate health insurance mandates.

The bill creates an insurance coverage and affordability task force within the legislative council. The task force will review any bill that would mandate a health insurance benefit, evaluating its social, financial, and medical impacts. The task force will make recommendations to the legislature, which may consider these in deciding whether to enact or repeal health insurance mandates. The task force will also evaluate existing health insurance mandates and make recommendations for reducing their number or coverage.
