Michigan SB0763 amends the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act by adding a new section that restricts permit holders from passing on to the public the costs associated with infrastructure improvements needed for increased water withdrawal capacity. This change applies when a permit holder proposes to increase their withdrawal capacity beyond the amount reported in their most recent annual report. The bill does not take effect unless specified other bills are enacted.
